I will meet you where you are, at any level of health, and help you formulate and meet the goals that are important to YOU. You're the boss here!
What I don’t do: I am not a doctor, a dietitian, or a fitness coach. I cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe a specific diet, or prescribe a specific exercise plan.
What I do: I use evidence-based methods to uncover your motivations to change, help you visualize where you want to be in the future, and help you create goals to achieve your vision. I will share nutrition and health information backed by solid science to enable you to make food and lifestyle choices to optimize your health.
If you need help transitioning to a different type of diet, I have experience with several, particularly the paleo diet, the primal diet, and the keto diet, as well as specific elimination diet protocols such as the Whole30, the 21-Day Sugar Detox, The Heal Your Headache migraine diet, the low-FODMAP diet, the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, and the GAPS diet.
In my 15 years of nursing, I have cared for thousands of patients with chronic diseases. Most of those people did not have to be patients in the hospital. They were put into those situations by years of unhealthy behaviors, primarily poor food choices, smoking, and inactivity. I have witnessed more suffering than I care to remember: diabetics having feet amputated, people unable to walk the length of a hallway due to lung disease, and people dying after surgical complications due to obesity.
It doesn't have to be like that. A healthier life is within your reach. You are given one body to last a whole life long. Make the most of it!
